Sally Louise (Murray) Randall, 75, died in San Leandro CA on Thursday, October 10, 2019 of complications from dementia.
Sally, beloved and known to her loved ones as mom, sis, Grandma, Auntie Lallie, Sadie and Graham-cracker, was born in Berkeley, CA on November 24, 1943 to William Murray and Claire Vivian Doran Murray. She was later joined by two siblings, William and Charles.
Sally graduated from Oakland Tech High School in 1961 and thereafter attended College of the Arts and Crafts in Oakland. She went on to use her artistic talents in many areas throughout her lifetime. Sally worked for Standard Oil company from 1962-1964 and then for Bank of America 1964-1966. Her greatest joy and life-task was to be a mother to her three children and grandma to her grandchildren. Throughout her years Sally also enjoyed working as a teacher’s aid at the elementary level, taught Sunday School, assisted in all women’s ministries at San Ramon Valley Bible Church, and was a spiritual mom to many.
In 1963 Sally was joined in marriage to Lonnie Randall in Oakland, CA. Together they have three children and seven grandchildren. She has resided in many different regions of California, primarily in Alameda County.
Sally is survived by Lonny Randall of Walnut Creek CA, Kimberly (Gregory) Collins of Westwood CA, Stephen (Jennifer) Randall of Oakley CA, and Emily (Rick) Savage of Dublin CA, seven grandchildren, her brothers, Bill Murray of Danville CA, and Charles (Molly) Downing of Santa Rosa CA, nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.
A burial service committing her to the Lord Jesus will be held Friday, October 18, 2019 at 10:00am at Higgins Mortuary, Antioch CA. Visitation begins at 9:30am. The service will be officiated by Terry Johnson of Calvary Chapel Westwood and Steve Randall, her son. Pallbearers will be Stephen Randall, Gregory Collins, Timothy Randall, Nathan Randall, Orrin Harkness, and David Murray. Interment will be held at Oak View Memorial Cemetery in Antioch CA.
