Ronald Scheile was born in San Francisco, California. He was a resident of Antioch for 43 years and passed away peacefully at the age of 81.
He is preceeded in death by his son, Daniel Scheile; his father, Louis Scheile; his mother, Gladys Scheile; and his older brother, Robert Scheile.
After attending high school at Napa Valley High, Ron went on to master the trade of cement masonry, He was a member of the Plasterers’ and Cement Masons’ Union Local 300 for nearly 40 years. As a longtime resident of the Bay Area, Ron was an avid San Francisco 49ers and San Francisco Giants fan. If he wasn’t talking football or baseball, you could find him under the hood of a car, attending a car show, or at the drag races with his son-in-law. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his son, Ronald Scheile, Jr. of Arkansas; daughter, Carol Scheile of California; daughter, Trina Manzer (Brian) of California; sister-in-law, Marie Scheile of Maryland; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews that loved him dearly. To say Ron will be greatly missed seems so understated but knowing he is in the arms of the Lord and his son he so dearly missed, brings our broken hearts much needed comfort.
Graveside services will be held at Oakview Memorial Park, Monday, July 1, 2019, at 11 a.m.
