Richard Lee Pepe passed away on Saturday, March 16th, 2019 with his wife, children, siblings, and grandchildren nearby, in Concord, California at the age of 64. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Nicki Leigh Pepe, of Oakley, California; his two daughters, Maegen Allhands and Casey Pichette; two grandchildren, Aiden and Addison Allhands; his 4 siblings, Gerald, Denise, Sue and Mark. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Richard Pepe. Richard was born on July 2nd, 1954 in Louisville, Kentucky, and grew up in Medinah, Illinois, just outside of Chicago. After high school he moved to Tucson, AZ with his family where he later met his wife, Nicki Pepe at St. Marks United Methodist Church. For most of his career, Richard worked as a Network Specialist primarily at Command Data Systems, Digital Equipment, Compaq, and Cadence Design Systems. He was known for his love, wit, comedic timing, and kind heart. His true loves were family, food, computers, and exploration.
