Randy passed away peacefully at the Bruns House Hospice of the East Bay in the early morning hours with his loving family by his side. A native of Key West, Florida, he worked for Southern & Union Pacific Railroad for 22 years and then decided on a career change and was a successful Realtor for 16 years. Randy was very passionate about sports, especially baseball. He devoted most of his time to coaching his sons’ baseball teams, as well as participating in all of their school events. His greatest joy was watching his sons’ games, as well as meeting and making friends where ever he went. Randy loved to make people laugh and always entertained his family and friends with his jokes (most of them were good too!). Randy is survived by his wife, Trudie, sons: Jonathan and Steven; stepsons: Matthew and Michael, mother, Rosella, sister, Cindy, and nieces, grandnieces and grandnephew. Randy was preceded in death by his two brothers, Steven and Mark Kerr, son, Daniel Kerr and Father Kermit Kerr. Funeral Services will be held at Higgins Chapel, 1310 A St., Antioch on Saturday, September 15, with visitation beginning at 10 am and a funeral service starting promptly at 11 am immediately followed by interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Concord.
