Philip Arelius Raul passed away on Sunday September 15, 2019 in a vehicle accident. He touched many lives with his kindness, loyalty and wicked sense of humor amongst many other invaluable qualities.
Phillip was born in Burlingame, CA to his loving parents Stephen and Elizabeth Raul. Growing up he enjoyed building his first car a
1969 Plymouth GTX.
He graduated from Capuchino High School, then went on to graduate from California State University, East Bay and was an indispensable employee of Avalon Transportation in Burlingame, CA for almost 20 years.
He enjoyed many outdoor activities from off-roading in his Jeep, camping, fishing, dirt biking to crabbing with the love of his life, Cynthia, family and friends. He also enjoyed working on the property he and Cynthia owned, as he was quite the handy man and always seemed to be working on a project to make their dream home even more “their own.” He was crafty AF.
Phillip is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia, father Stephen Raul of San Bruno, California, son William Connor Jungk of Folsom, CA, stepdaughters Shelby Eastom of Rio Vista, CA and Jessica Williams of Antioch, CA, Sister Julianna Rose of Clovis, CA, Brothers Stephen and James Raul of San Bruno, CA along with his beloved puppies Shanon and Diane.
His fun-loving spirit, love of family and warm, kid-hearted, genuine *Philip-ness will be miss by every single person who knew him. Truly one of a kind. Love you Philip.
