After a short battle with cancer, Larry passed away on March 31, 2021, with his family by his side. Larry is survived by his loving wife, Mary, of 45 years; his devoted children, Mike (Deb), Laura (Moe), and Chris; grandchildren, Anthony, Hillary, Gregory, Chris Jr., Lisa Rose, and Samaiyah. He is also survived by his brother Rich (Linda), Aunts Manda, Dora, cousin Phyllis, Pam, and niece Amber. Larry was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Marie, and brother, Robert.
Larry was born in Pueblo, CO, and as a child, moved to San Francisco, where he grew up and graduated from Mission High School in 1965. Larry then joined the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged with a Purple Heart in 1967. Larry owned many businesses, including The Joker Club, where he eventually met his wife, Mary. Over the years, Larry and Mary raised four children together.
Larry recently retired from Winter Chevrolet in Pittsburg, California after 23 years as a Service Advisor where all his co-workers and customers loved him. He touched many lives with his generous, loving spirit and positive attitude. His smile, eyes, and heart will be missed and never be forgotten.
Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life on May 8 at 1pm at the Veterans Memorial Building, 757 First St. Brentwood, CA.
