Johnny Lee Trimmer, devoted husband and father, passed into eternal rest July 26, 2018 at his home in Antioch, CA. An avid sailor, he spent the early years of his retirement sailing with Eleanor in the waters of the California Delta and Coast, as well as Mexico and Canada. He was known for his lilting, tenor voice, and he sang in small ensembles, such as the Jubilation Singers, and larger choirs, such as the Oakland Symphony Chorus. He also performed with the Contra Costa Musical Theater in numerous musicals, among them, “Brigadoon” and “Hello Dolly”.
Johnny is survived by Eleanor; his children, Kathy Terry and husband, Rodger, Marsha Johnson and husband, Bruce, Bonnie Boyce and husband, Daryl, and Kevin Trimmer and his wife, Leslie Malone; his sister, Patricia Sargent; ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
