Jackie Panos, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021. Jackie was born on June 13, 1951 in New Castle, PA and moved to California in 1962. She was a 1969 graduate of Clayton Valley High School and later became a longtime resident of Antioch.
In 1992, she married the love of her life, Brian Panos. She is survived by her husband, Brian, her sons and daughters-in-law, Steven and Erin Knight and Bryan and Shannon Knight, along with four grandchildren, Zachary, Hailey, Bobby, and Sierra, four siblings, and 27 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kelly Knight, and her parents, Robert and Vivian Jones.
In addition to her extreme pride in her children and grandchildren, Jackie was an avid bowler who loved bowling with Brian. She was also the family historian and a lifetime crafter. She initially worked in the finance industry then later became the owner of The Blindstitch (also known as Grandma Jackie’s Embroidery), a small embroidery business. She loved earning her living designing and creating embroidery and sewing items as well as donating creations to a variety of charitable organizations
Services will be held on November 8th at 10:00 a.m. at Higgins Chapel, 1310 A Street, Antioch, CA.
