Helena Octavia Templet Alleman

September 13, 1944 ~ April 1, 2020 (age 75)

On April 1, 2020, at 12:20am, our beautiful Mother was called to Heaven. After a long and painful battle with cancer and kidney disease, she passed peacefully at home, in her sleep, with her daughters and son in law by her side.

Helena was born in Donaldsonville, Louisiana in the fall of 1944. The first born to Mrs. Rosa Inzerilla and Mr. Octave Templet.

She grew up in Donaldsonville and married the love of her life, her soul mate, Terrell J. Alleman. They were married for 57 years. She was a loving mother to her two daughters and a doting grandmother to her two grandchildren.

Helena was an accomplished hair dresser and make up artist for 30 + years. She truly enjoyed painting, reading, music, singing and dancing, and her beloved doggie, Cara. All who knew Helena loved her. She was warm, friendly and easy to talk to. With her lovely red hair and striking green eyes, she stood out in a crowd. She had the best laugh in the room and a great sense of humor, it was no wonder why people were drawn to her.

Helena is preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Rosa Milburn, her father, Octave Templet, and her husband, Terrell Jean Alleman. She is survived by her daughters, Mrs Patricia Theis and her husband Kevin, of Oakley, CA, Mrs. Michelle Minton and her husband James, of Bartlesville, OK, her two grandchildren, Mrs. Emily Marshall and her husband Eric, of Concord, CA, and Mr. Kyle Minton, of Bartlesville, OK, her brother, Mr. Jay LeJeune, of Hot Springs, AR and her sister, Ms. Gina LeJeune, of Tyler, TX

Due to the COVID19 restrictions that impacts us all, a Catholic Mass must be deferred at this time. Information to follow regarding funeral services and celebration of her life once the social distancing order has been lifted.
