Filomena Elizabeth Brazil

Filomena Elizabeth Brazil March 21, 1933 – February 20, 2023

Resident of Antioch, Filomena was born in Antioch, CA to John and Carmel Farrace. She met Raymond while attending Antioch High School, and married him when she was 20 years old, settling into their house in Antioch and turning a house into a home. She was a loving wife and mother, and an excellent homemaker with a gift for making all feel welcome. She cared for her parents until their passing. The highlight of her life was spending time with her family and friends. Filomena was the beloved mother of John Brazil and daughter-in-law Yvonne. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her son, John. Filomena’s funeral mass will be on Monday, March 13 at 11a.m. at Holy Rosary Church in Antioch followed by internment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Antioch. A special thanks is extended to Sutter Delta Hospice of Concord for the care and comfort they gave Filomena and her family.
