Edward Joseph King Sr., 63, of Brentwood, CA died on 5/23/2021. His loss was completely unexpected and the family is deeply saddened.
Edward King was born on November 29th, 1957 and was the son of Webb and Mary McDiffitt in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Edward attended Cuyahoga Falls High School and was passionate about playing High School Football. After graduating High School, Edward moved to California with his wife Janet King to start his own business and a family with 4 children: Edward Jr, Kerena, Christina, and Felicity.
He worked as the owner and operator of King Carpet Service for 42 years and Christmas of Brentwood for 20 years.
Edward also spent time as a group leader for both the Boy Scouts with his son and the Explorer Scouts with his son and daughter. He was an active pheasant hunter and participated in outdoor historic Rendezvous with his close friends.
Anyone who knew Edward, knew that he was creative, kind, helpful, and strove to be a source of humor and laughter with his friends. He had an immense passion for outdoor adventures and was always a source of humor and light heartedness. Edward’s family and friends will miss him more than words can say.
