In Loving Memory of Claudia Mae Crosby
Claudia Mae Crosby was born on July 16th 1934 in Newton, Mississippi to the proud parents of Reverend Rubin and Addie Mae Bingham* She embraced life in heaven July 1 8th 2019. Claudia Mae was the first born of 17 siblings. Claudia accepted Christ at an early Attended her father's church in Newton, Mississippi© She met her loving husband (D&C. Crosby in Sandusky, Ohio formed a union of marriage on July 19th 1949. Out of the 70 years of marriage they created 6 beautiful children.
Claudia and her husband began their life together as proprietors of their own business and investors of real estate in the 1950'su Claudia was also a devoted mother and homemakers She also was an excellent cook! Everyone loved her fantastic cooking, this is something she took great pride in, especially baking, Claudia's specialty was german chocolate cake, banana pudding, sweet potato and lemon ice box pies. Claudia was known to prepare meals and loved sharing her delicious meals with family and friends.
Claudia was also a graduate of Laney College in Oakland, California. Upon graduation she started a career as an instructor for Laney College. She also, worked part time at The Del Monte Cannery in Oakland, Californiæ Claudia also became an Ordained Minister and regularly was an honorary guest speaker at local churches in the Bay Area.
Claudia was a member of Greater St Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Oakland3 California. After moving to Modesto, California she became a member of Seed of Joy Worship Center,
Claudia was proceeded in death by her loving parents Reverend Rubin and
Addie Mae Bingham and 11 siblings, two children* Oliver C. Crosby and Mayetta
Copes. She leaves to cherish her loving memories siblings: Ruby Prigett, Eva
Whitlock, Joe CE Bingham} William Bingham, Cornelius Bingham and Lillian (YNeal, four children: Claudette Trawick, Olson Earl Crosby, Lenora Crosby all of Modesto, California and Ladina Sims of Antioch, California. Also left to mourned are 7 grandchildren: Olisha King, Dacia Wilson, Natoya Ray, Bobby R, Sanders Claudia D, Crosby and Nicole O. Street, 11 great grandchildren and host of family and friends.
